Marketing and PR/Communications Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Includes but is not limited to; MARKETING

  • Assist in development of seasonal marketing initiatives to drive awareness, footfall and sales
  • Responsible for the briefing of all global brand-marketing led initiatives, feeding requirements into content and creative team. Managing the delivery of all tools and distribution across the wider business including wholesale accounts & franchise partners.
  • Support in the planning and organizing of marketing events in Budapest and overseas to broaden the target audience and increase brand awareness
  • Assist in the organization of wholesale and franchise events and special projects
  • Coordinate international marketing calendar, ensuring marketing support of seasonal brand and commercial needs.
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with new and existing third party global partners aiming to drive customer acquisition and build brand awareness
  • Suggest co-branding and brand partnership to help develop brand awareness

PRESS

  • Identify and build relationships with key media contacts for PR purposes, ensuring they are well briefed on the company/brand.
  • Work proactively to identify opportunities and secure positive coverage through news stories and product placement across all target media.
  • Support in the planning and organizing of press events.
  • Regularly liaise with the external PR agencies ensuring they are supported and are kept up to date on global PR initiatives.  
  • Support global wholesale accounts and franchise partners ensuring they have season PR assets.
  • Drive communication strategy, social media policy and visual identity and partner profiling strategies
  • Media engagement strategy and external communications
  • Execute and Manage all Brand partnerships and collaborations
  • Oversee seasonal strategy, calendar development including objectives and outcomes
  • Create and distribute talking points for both Brand executives and VIPs/celebrities for appearances and events

 

The Ideal Candidate

Person Specification/Skills:

  • BA/Bs degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, PR or related field
  • Relevant Marketing and PR experience in an agency or highly branded company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify market trends
  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • Resilient under pressure

Language skills

  • English, Full professional proficiency
